I strategize marketing events from the ground up.
My typical process looks something like this:
1. Develop an event marketing plan and specific marketing goals to meet within the proposed timeline.

2. Scout for events and develop a proposed events calendar for the upcoming year.
3. Contact event hosts or organizations that are renting event space and establish a relationship.
4. Negotiate an event sponsorship package with features optimally selected to achieve our marketing goals.
5. Plan, design and purchase marketing materials for the event that are specifically tailored to enable our marketing goals.
6. Recruit staff for the event, making sure they will interact with event attendees in a way that upholds the companies core values and will help achieve the marketing goal(s).
7. Analyze the results of the event and determine if we met our marketing goal(s) and what we can improve in the future.
This process is fluid and will be revised as the event marketing goals change throughout the year.
The key to event marketing is to be adaptive, seek quality over quantity and to think outside the box.
If you just thought “That’s what I’m looking for!”
send me an email. I’d love to work with you.
